# **Super Update: 4 Small But Mighty Features You May Not Know**
You may not of heard of these, but they pack a punch!
Published by Nancy
Not every update needs to be flashy to make a difference. Here's a breakdown of four small features you can start using today:
**1 - Schedule Time Highlight**
**What's new?**
Hover over a reservation or time slot in your Schedule, and the matching time in the column header now highlights automatically.
**Why?**
On a busy day with back-to-back bookings, it's easy to lose track of exactly which time you're looking at. This removes the guesswork.
**Where?**
Open your Schedule, switch to Day or Week view, and hover over any reservation or time slot.
**2 - Barcode Scanning for Sales**
**What's new?**
Staff can now use their mobile phone camera to scan product barcodes directly into an open sale.
**Why?**
Using your phone's camera makes it quicker to add products on the go, reducing the need to search by name and helping avoid selecting the wrong item.
**Where?**
Open or create a Sale, choose to add a Product, then tap the scan icon and point your camera at the barcode.
**3 - Total Gift Card Balance**
**What's new?**
A Customer's profile now shows a single, visible total of all valid Gift Card balances they currently hold.
**Why?**
No more opening each Gift Card individually and adding up the balances yourself—see the combined total at a glance.
**Where?** Go to Customers, open the customer's profile, and scroll to the Balances section.
**4 - Active and Expired Promo Codes Views**
**What's new?**
Promo Codes are now split into two dedicated views—Active and Expired—instead of one combined list.
**Why?**
As your list of promotions grows, it's harder to find the ones still usable. Now you can manage current codes without scrolling past old, inactive ones.
**Where?**
Go to Manage > Promo Codes and use the Active / Expired toggle at the top of the list.
